Parador Care Support provides essential support to clients with Personal Health Budgets (PHB).

Our recruitment team recruits Personal Assistants (PA) on behalf of PHB clients, following the CQC Safer Recruitment process. We pride ourselves on our personalised approach to recruitment and we involve the client at every stage of the process to ensure that we achieve the right outcome.

Our team of registered nurses provides clinical training to PAs after which we assess competency to ensure that they are confident and competent in the delivery of care interventions. The importance of competency assessment and sign-off should not be underestimated and our nurses will not delegate a healthcare task unless they are certain it is appropriate for the client and the PA.

To continue the support we provide to our clients after training is completed, we offer nurse-led clinical oversight. This involves regular contact between our nurse, the client and the care team. This ensures we are well placed to monitor client needs and ensure that PAs are enabled to provide the required care and support.

Parador has deployed this model of support successfully to convert failed packages of agency/provider care to stable and safe PHBs.
